The website has a special focus on companies started by Africans and people of African descent amid calls for more diversity in the funding of startups and a significant proportion of funding goes to founders from the West.

We hope to put a spotlight on the African companies who are scaling and to highlight some of the local companies who may not have the connections and network to access major funding.
